26 days…Yes, that’s right only 26 days of school left. We have a lot of school wide activities planned between now and May 24th. In addition to all of our fun activities, we also have the SOLs that are quickly approaching. Students are preparing in math and Virginia Studies where they are answering daily review questions.
It is hard to believe that we are in the 4th quarter already! The students are still working hard in both Math and Virginia Studies. Please be sure to continue to complete your homework, as well as, putting in 100% effort during class as we begin to prepare for the SOL tests that will begin in May. Keep up the fantastic fourth grade work!
We’ve reached the end of the 3rd nine weeks. With that being said, we have benchmarks this coming week.
Math: Tuesday, March 7, 2017
Virginia Studies: Thursday, March 9, 2017
Just keep multiplying!
The students are doing a fabulous job with their multiplication facts! There are many students who have mastered their 0-12 facts and are anxiously awaiting a “special surprise”.
Ways to practice facts at home:
- Reflex Math
- Flash Cards
- Multiplication War
Have fun with it and remember, just keep swimming…
I hope that all students and families had a safe and happy holiday break. I’m looking forward to seeing the 4th grade students on Wednesday, ready to learn!
