Homework is an important part of your child’s final grade.  In fact, it accounts for 10% of the grade.  Homework that is not turned in will result in irreparable damage to your child’s grade.
Every student begins each nine weeks with 100% for their homework grade.  For example, 1 missed math homework results in a grade of 98%.  Forget your homework 5 times and students are looking at 90%.  Poor grades can be prevented by simply turning in  your homework.
  • Math homework is given every Monday for the week.  Students should complete the five problems daily.  Each assignment is worth 2 points; 1 point is for completion, 1 point is for showing the necessary work.
  • VA Studies homework will be given when necessary.
  • Students should be reviewing their notes in both Math and VA Studies on a nightly basis.
